best hero set up for this
im a paragon running the imbagon build and i was wandering what would be the best hero setup for vanquishes. i know for the most part id have to change a few skills in certain areas but just wanded to find out a well rounded team to use.
1. i know about discord way but its kinda hard when u have no hexes in ur build to use. 2. used racway not a huge fan unless there is a diff varient that can be used. 3. yes i use consets in each area for the most part unless there just really easy. so taking those 3 points into consideration and the fact im an imbagon id really like your help on this. thank you |

Personally I use Sabway with my Imbagon and it seems to work pretty well in most area's I haven't really had any problems.

If possible and you have a friend with you discordway would be the way to go. Even with hero/hench you can put a hex/ condition on a necromancer. I normally do suffering/ shadow of fear and weaken armor/ enfeebling blood.
If with a friend they can run an ap nuker build and spam finish him to spike targets quicker. I don't like sabway much any more. It is a decent build in it's own, but discordway has surpassed it for the most part. Especially if you can manage 6 heroes but even with 3 it's fine. |

Your setup is about the same as a discord setup as is. N/rt toss in discord as elite, n/mo minion bomber toss in discord as elite. All your missing on is a third necromancer for utilities such as enfeebling blood and a spare hex. With an imbagon you (shouldn't) need cons really. As long as you have a protective spirit/ aegis on say a minion bomber if you care to take one. The damage should be manageable besides a few possible deaths. You can run physicals with an orders dervish. You can run sabway in a somewhat balanced team. You can run discordway (works better if you have a friend). Just test out what works for you. I usually vanquish or do harder areas with a partner and 6 discord heroes. If I can manage most damage with the 2 healers and 2 copies of protective spirit and aegis then I run an ap caller as well. Multiple pain inverters and finish hims can bring down foes quickly. If the area is actually somewhat hard then I can switch to an imbagon. If you can't get a friend then most likely you might want to try a form of physical heroes/hench with orders dervish and whatever else. Or still stick with discord. I don't like sabway personally because you focus on the damage from spiteful spirit as your main "high damage hero". I know you add other damage such as splinter weapon and what not. But they will ss what your attacking which will soon die usually. So I don't know, I don't like sabway any more. Last edited by MercenaryKnight; Sep 10, 2009 at 05:02 AM // 05:02.. |

if you can get a buddy to go with you I would try that. even without a buddy, running the build without the resto rits and second necro works fairly well, if you can prevent damage. Havent tried the 1 man version yet, but it might work also |

ArkFenway > Discord on physicals. Also, if you need consets for a large majority of areas you're doing something seriously seriously wrong.

As Marty & Fred said, Arkfenway works well with physicals. Here is a link to the 1-man Spiritway build, which i am using with my warrior. If you do not have two rit heroes, then you can substitute a ranger to run the SoS build, putting at least 9pts in Expertise.

For something new try this
Necro/rit healer rit (or necro) spirit pooper (need to micro up until the attack happens then ok on own) necro/rit minion bomber. More targets at once the more occupied the enemy is and easier to dispatch of. But you will sacrifice speed. |
